This clock is made in the 1960s.
This is a very rare Delft clock. Also because it has a gong chime.
The traditional Dutch clock chimes on the half and full hour (chimes beautifully). It’s weight driven by two brass pear shaped weights.
This is a very rare clock and a collectors item. This clock has no Delft tiles, but typical Dutch scenery which is painted on the wood of the clock.
The clock works perfectly. The measurements are 65 x 27 centimeter.
The pendulum is decorated with a beautiful piece horseman.
This clock has some normal traces of age, please see the photos.
One can read on the ornaments around the top the following Dutch words: "Nu Elk Syn Sin" which means "To Each His Own" or "Every Man to His Taste".
This is a reference to the freedom of religion after the Dutch rebelled successfully against the Spaniards.
